Our pre-made pouch packaging machine is a versatile, automatic system designed to fill and seal all types of pre-made bags including zipper bags, stand-up pouches, flat bottom bags, side gusset bags, and three-side seal bags. The rotary type machine operates at speeds from 20 to 80 bags per minute, while the reciprocating type runs at 10 to 40 bags per minute for gentle product handling. This machine serves food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and pet food industries worldwide.
The Rotary Pre-made Pouch Machine Design
Our rotary pre-made pouch machine features a circular carousel design with multiple bag clamps mounted on a rotating turret. Each bag clamp passes through sequential stations including bag pick-up, barcode or date printing, bag opening, filling, sealing, cooling, and discharge. The continuous rotation allows higher speeds compared to linear machines while maintaining consistent sealing quality.
Key Stations Explained
Bag Pick-up Station
Empty bags are stored in a magazine. A combination of mechanical fingers and vacuum suction cups picks the bag, opens the bag mouth partially, and transfers it to a rotating bag clamp. The bag clamp holds the bag by its top edge throughout the cycle.
Printing Station
An optional inkjet or thermal transfer printer prints batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, and barcode on the bag surface before filling.
Bag Opening Station
Suction cups open the bag mouth fully. A bag presence sensor verifies that the bag is opened correctly. If the bag fails to open, the machine automatically rejects that bag at the discharge station and does not fill it.
Filling Station
Multiple filler types can be mounted on the rotary turret. The machine can be equipped with one or two filling stations for the same bag. For example, a multi-head weigher for solid products or a piston filler for liquid products. A dust collection nozzle surrounds the filling nozzle for powder applications.
Sealing & Cooling Stations
The sealing station uses upper and lower heated jaws to seal the bag top. Temperature is controlled within plus or minus one degree Celsius. The cooling station follows immediately with cold jaws to set the seal and prevent seal distortion.
Discharge Station
Finished bags are released from the bag clamps onto an output conveyor. Rejected bags are discharged through a separate chute.

The servo driven rotary turret provides precise positioning with an encoder feedback system. The touch screen PLC controls all machine functions with recipe storage for up to 200 different bag types. An automatic lubrication system oils all moving parts at preset intervals. The machine includes safety guards with interlock switches and emergency stop buttons at multiple locations.
